Activities

At Beck, we offer many extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. Most programs meet after school; however, Band, Chorus, and Orchestra take place during school and WIN periods.

How Do I sign up?

Announcements are made in the morning and after school with information on how to sign up and where to meet. You can also find flyers and information on the bulletin board between the Student Support Center and the Main Office, on the school website, or in the Main Office.

Specifically for SGA

Students interested in participating in the Student Government Association (SGA) are encouraged to join the SGA Google Classroom. The Google Classroom class code and QR code are posted on the Activities Bulletin Board and the SGA Bulletin Board located in the main hallway.

Google Classroom serves as the primary method of communication for all SGA members. Information regarding meetings, school events, volunteer opportunities, activities, and other important announcements will be posted there. In addition, reminders and updates will be shared during both the morning and afternoon school announcements.

SGA meetings are held after school and during designated WIN periods as needed throughout the school year. Students are encouraged to regularly monitor Google Classroom and school announcements to remain informed about upcoming meetings and opportunities to participate. When do these activities take place?

Most activities take place after school and end at 4:20 PM. Students will inform their advisor whether they will be picked up, walk home, or take the late bus. A late bus is available for students who are bused to school and provides drop-off near their home, though it may not be their regular assigned bus stop. Students should communicate their after-school plans with their parent/guardian so everyone is aware of their whereabouts.
